This little blinky thing was going to be part of a puzzle. The reason it went unused is because I could not think of a function for it. I knew I wanted something to happen when it was clicked, but I could never decide exactly what.
At one point, there was going to be a recording of myself saying "I am a beetle" and the answer to the riddle was going to be "paul_is_dead.htm. I couldn't think of a way to get from the recording to the answer without requiring you to already know the reference. I considered just havint the words :paul is dead" be in the source, but that seemed too easy.
Originally, the puzzle ended at the final .txt file in the first part. However, I realized that the puzzle was too short, and nobdody likes a short puzzle. So, if the transition from TXT to HTM seemed rushed, That's because it was.
If this puzzle seems rushed, though, I promise you it wasn't. At least, not entirely. I am not the best with CSS, or JS, or HTML, and something a lot of people know about me is that I am very lazy. I'll maybe get around to tidying and sprucing up the place, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you.
